These are great. I was super surprised when I tried these on myself, as I normally do before I apply to a client. I lifted my hair to a level 9, and my hair holds yellow big time!!! Mixed 6grams 9.61 with 2grams 5.61 with 6 vol. Now, I expected that this would cause my hair to have been more of a level 8. But no, my hair kept at a level 9 and it completely toned out every single bit of the yellow and it now appears WHITE! It is super hard to get my hair white. What I suspect is that the 5.61 has more tonality and instead of competing with the level 9, it just acted as a shear. But that could also mean the the 5.61 might be more shear on lower levels. I’ll have to try to tone out a darker level at some point. But for now, this combo will be my go to slow toner. It did however take 35 minutes, but I cut no corners. The artistry is the most important aspect IMHO…
