Sectioning

Section A

Create a block section from the interior eyebrow arch to the top of the frontal fringe flat down to the top of the ear.

Section B

Secure the rest of the hair away.

Lightener application

Subsection Section A with a diagonal line from the point at the frontal fringe flat top the temple. Highlight this subsection, starting at the hairline, use small weaves around the hairline for clean results, then use slices, being sure to lighten all hair in this section.

Pro Tip: Keep subsections small for even saturation. Saturation is key for optimal lift and even results.

On the subsection under the previous line, starting at the hairline, use small weaves to get clean results. Then use slices, being sure to lighten all hair in this section.

When processing is complete, rinse the hair and towel dry. Do Not Shampoo.

Proceed with MORPHOSIS PRO-FORCE SEALER 102, apply 10-20ml or 5-10 pumps to midshaft and ends.

Comb carefully to distribute evenly.

Process for 5 minutes and gently rinse. Shampoo with Framesi COLOR METHOD SHAMPOO GO

Color Application

Section B (The one that was not lightened)

Apply FRAMESI COLOR METHOD PRO-TECT CREAM to the hairline for protection from color.

Mix 60cc FRAMCOLOR 2001 INTENSE 4.00 with 120cc FRAMESI PROFESSIONAL ACTIVATOR 15 VOLUME. The mixing ratio is 1:2. 1 part color to 2 parts activator.

framesi FRAMCOLOR 2001 INTENSE consists of a soft cream conditioning base that can be mixed using a shaker or a bowl and brush.

Apply this color formulation to the entire section, root to ends.

Pro Tip: apply the root area first for control and neatness, then go back in and apply to the midshaft and ends.

With FRAMCOLOR 2001 INTENSE, process for HALF THE TIME! Traditional processing time was 35-40 minutes, with INTENSE, it’s half that!

Pro Tip: Add cotton as a barrier, so the dark color doesn’t transfer to the lighter section. Plastic wrap gives added protection.

On Section A, the pre-lightened section

Mix 15cc FRAMCOLOR 2001 INTENSE 9.00 + 40cc FRAMCOLOR 2001 INTENSE 10.26 with 110cc FRAMESI PROFESSIONAL ACTIVATOR 15 volume.

framesi FRAMCOLOR 2001 INTENSE consists of a soft cream conditioning base that can be mixed using a shaker or a bowl and brush.

Apply to the mid and ends of the section to keep the dark root color from transferring to the highlighted section.

Next, apply a root tap with the formula from the base color of Section B, only about ½” from the scalp.

Pro Tip: Root tap blends only the first ½”, giving higher contrast overall. A shadow root blends the color from 1 – 1.5”off the scalp softening the colors more.

The rest of the hair will be toned with the color that was mixed for midshaft and ends. Be sure to work the color though, using your hands and a wide tooth comb to blend the root tap with the toner color to soften any lines.

Remember FRAMCOLOR 2001 INTENSE processes in half the time, even our toners! What was 10-20 minutes, now becomes 5-10 minutes!

Styling:

Use FRAMESI COLOR LOVER PROGRESSIVE STRONG as the first layer. Then emulsify FRAMESI COLOR LOVER HAIR STRAIGHTENING SERUM AND FRAMESI COLOR LOVER STOP FRIZZ together in your hands and apply to the hair. After the blow dry, finish with framesi BY Mist Hairspray Light.

Beach waves:

If you want to create beach waves, after the blow dry, take diagonal back sections with a flat iron and
horizontal subsections. Alternate placement for each subsection, turning towards and away from the face and straighten out the ends of the hair.

Make a full turn before you start to pull for a more even shape.

Pro Tip: Slower Pull = Tighter Curl; Faster Pull = Looser Curl

After creating the waves, apply FRAMESI COLOR LOVER STOP FRIZZ on the ends of the hair. Then finish with framesi BY Mist Hairspray Light, spraying in a downward motion ensures your flyaways stay down.

Using a wide tooth comb to soften and break up the curls, creates the beach waves that everyone wants.
