Sectioning:
Section E
Draw a line from top of the ear to top of the ear passing just under the occipital.
Section D
Draw a horizontal line passing through the center of the head. This will include the hair from the occipital to the center juncture.
Section C
Isolate the crown.
Section A and B
Draw a diagonal line from vertex to the top of the ear on both sides of the head.
Application:
Section E – The Ponytail Section
Using the Balayage Formula, apply to the hair in this section, picking up the baby hairs to create brightness underneath when the guest pulls up their hair into a ponytail. You want heavy saturation. Using cotton and plastic wrap is for insulation and separation.
Pro tip: Hold hair tightly and apply lightener to the midshaft and feather toward the hairline.
Section D – The Depth Pocket
Apply the One Step Repigmentizing Formula to all hair in this section.
Pro Tip: Adding 7DE and 7RDE to the base color gives this section longer lasting color as well as even results from root to end. Repigmentizing in one step.
Section C
Isolate the crown. Using foilayage techniques alternate weaving and teasing up to the crown. Continue to use cotton and plastic wrap for insulation and separations.
Pro Tip: The closer you tease at the root the less root you create. The farther down you start the tease, the more root you create.
Section A and B
Apply the DECOLOR B DIAMOND with 20, using micro slices and weaves at the hairline. At the ear juncture, divide the section at the parietal ridge.
In the section below the parietal ridge to top of the ear, use the One Step Repigmentizing Formula to carry the lowlight depth through to the front.
Above the parietal ridge, using micro slices and teasing complete the section.
After you finish Section A
The lighter bits you saw in Section C, apply the remaining DECOLOR B with 20 to the ends and process to a level 9.
Shampoo with framesi COLOR METHOD SHAMPOO GO. Apply base color. To the entire head to about 1” out from the root.
Apply toner. Using your hands blend the root color and the toner making a seamless transition. Process 25 minutes. After processing, shampoo with COLOR METHOD SHAMPOO GO. Rinse.
Using the Final Gloss Formula apply the gloss. No activator necessary. Process 5 – 10 minutes. Rinse. No shampoo is required. Then style.
Styling:
Use FRAMESI COLOR LOVER PROGRESSIVELY STRONG as the first layer. Then emulsify FRAMESI COLOR LOVER HAIR STRAIGHTENING SERUM and FRAMESI COLOR LOVER STOP FRIZZ together in your hands and apply to the hair.
After the blow dry, finish with FRAMESI COLOR LOVER DESIGN FIX & FLEX HAIRSPRAY.
